I have a 100% REMOTE opportunity for a Staff Node.js Software Engineer to join an organization in Dallas/Fort Worth with a legacy of innovation that dates back to the 1900s, specializing in AI-powered workflow processing and process intelligence.

Your Role:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support features and services from concept to production.
• Build and optimize scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integrations.
• Set the standard for code quality and maintainability, mentoring team members and driving best practices.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver features aligned with both technical and business goals.
• Continuously innovate by identifying and implementing modern solutions to improve the codebase.
• Ensure the reliability and performance of systems, proactively resolving issues and maintaining uptime.

What You’ll Need:
• Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, with advanced knowledge of types and the Node.js runtime.
• Experience in frontend development using frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React.
• Strong background in API development, database management (both relational and NoSQL), and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha, and debugging tools.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and data encryption.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Bonus Skills:
• Familiarity with GraphQL, OCR, or NLP technologies.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization for scalable systems.
• Hands-on exposure to modern tools and languages like C++, Rust, Node, Python, Swift, or Kotlin.
